• Course Description (from syllabus): The course has three principal aims. First, it prepares students for more advanced coursework in political science and related social sciences. Second, it develops analytical skills that are increasingly important across professions, including the ability to evaluate evidence, assess causal claims, and make decisions based on data. Third, it introduces students to data analysis as a creative and engaging process of discovery.
